It should come as no surprise that the main attraction in Acapulco is the beach, what with its white sand and pristine Pacific blue waters. Most of the hotels along the beach also have multiple pools along the beach, and many visitors split their time between the two. If you’re bored of laying out, hop on a banana boat or jet ski and ride the ocean for a small cost. (Just go around and haggle with people running different operations on the beach; there will be a bunch.) And for more water fun, check out Cici (click for a full writeup.)
And for a break from the beach, head to one of Acapulco’s open air markets. You’ll find an array of traditional Mexican wares from floral and lace dresses to hand-painted pottery, and for not much money.
