A longstanding family favorite, this restaurant serves up authentic, simple Mexican classics
The owners of this restaurant are family friends (the retired owner and my grandfather were good friends), but that’s not the only reason we love this place. My mother swears they serve the best mole she’s ever tasted, and the meat is always tender and succulent (although the restaurant name means “kid” — like baby goat — I have yet to it). We could pass hours (and we have) sitting at the restaurant, half of which is outside, eating and enjoying the company. It’s authentic, delicious and a prime example of everything that’s to love about Mexican food.
