Designed by Gaudí and Josep Maria Jujol to resemble a dragon, the home is both eerie and whimsical
It’s impossible to pass Casa Battló without noticing it. The exterior sparkles with a mosaic of broken tiles covering the home’s multiple stories and appears other-wordly. It is pricey to enter and view the unfurnished home, so if you’re on a budget, keep to the street, from which you can see the most impressive aspect of Casa Battló — the exterior — anyway. I regularly walked past Casa Battló while in Barcelona, and invariably I ended up staring up at it, open mouthed and in awe.
