La Paradeta involves waiting in a line outside to get to the counter of fresh (live!) seafood, selecting seafood, choosing sauce(s), picking a bottle of wine, sitting, drinking, waiting, picking up cooked food and consuming. It’s a simple concept and incredibly tasty and fresh, and the large cafeteria-style tables give it an even more communal feel. If you come during prime time on a weekend (after 8 pm), you’ll be lined up outside. I promise it’s worth the wait.
