Chicago’s most famous cup
Chicagoans love Intelligentsia, and with good reason. Not only is the coffee (and tea, I hear) high-quality, but the clean, open cafes are the ideal place to pick up a latte and read the Sunday paper. Even though the line can get long and tables crowded, it’s easy to tune everything out and relax with your reading and caffeine for a cafe experience that feels far less prepackaged than Starbucks. Intelligentsia is all over the country, but is especially beloved in its hometown of Chicago.
