An affordable, creative sushi menu at a BYOB in the West Loop
This cozy West Loop BYOB has tables large enough for groups of around 14 people, and the prices keep it reasonable enough to actually consider hosting an event in the brightly-painted space.
The maki list is endless, and you’ll find everything from a typical sushi beginner’s cream cheese and smoked salmon Philadelphia Roll ($5) to the lingonberry and salmon tempura-filled Samurai Maki ($14).
The appetizers are the same mix of creative and classic. The Thai Escargot appetizer ($6) came doused in a spicy curry sauce so good we were drinking it like soup at the table even after the garlic bread it’s served with was gone. The crab rangoons ($4) here are also exceptionally creamy and crab-flavored.
