“Eat, drink and dance” at one of Chicago’s best Latin restaurants
Nacional 27 makes its mark in the Chicago food scene with Nuevo Latino food at reasonable prices, an airy Miami Beach-esque feel and a dance floor that morphs into salsa central on weekends after 11 p.m. If your eyes are all over the menu, consider one of the combination or sampling platters. I can vouch for the n27 combination platter, which includes a smoked chicken empanada, boniato and plantain croqueta, barbecued lamb taco and shimp skewer for only $9.95. Don’t come slumming it in sweats, though! Like any true Latin place, people will be dressed to impress.
