Pick-Staiger Concert Hall

Northwestern University’s on-campus concert venue presents a robust schedule of programming for the public

People say there isn’t a bad seat in the house in Pick-Staiger, the acoustics in the 1,000+ person venue were designed so well. Local university students hardly take advantage of the concerts and shows Pick-Staiger hosts. (How do we know? We’re at fault, too!) It’s a shame, considering they can can acquire tickets for at about a third of the price as the general public. In October of 2009 we took advantage of that discount and saw one of the country’s top flamenco companies, Paco Peña Flamenco Dance Company, perform (photo above).
