Evanston has only a couple of establishments that stack up to the gastronomic competition of Chicago (meaning they make it into Chicago Magazine frequently), but The Stained Glass is one. Perhaps for that reason, it’s also one of the more uppity restaurants in town. Still, the restaurant has a distinctly warm atmosphere and serves up smaller but robustly tasty dishes that are presented well. An extensive wine list complements their well-rounded menu.
