The designer of Union Pizzeria was channeling industrial chic when designing the space with its walls of exposed brick, bare floors and minimalist tables and chairs. As the name suggests, they focus on pizza here. Luckily, they do it well, cooking it in a wood-burning oven until the thin crust is just crisp enough. The bar also dominates the front part of the restaurant and is full (as is the rest of the restaurant, which often has a wait) on most nights.
