These grouper sandwiches ($8.95) have been consistently voted the best in Southwest Florida, and although I have to admit they’re rivaled by the Grouper Reuben at Buzz’s Lighthouse, they prevail. A simple dose of lettuce, tomato and tartar sauce lets the fresh grouper flavor shine.

The place is hidden in a strip mall, like many of Naples’ best restaurants (USS Nemo, for example), with a couple outdoor tables and a ’50s movie star-themed decor inside. If you’re not opposed to eating in front of Marilyn Monroe, there is no excuse not to visit Grouper & Chips after a trip downtown.
